The Royal Leamington Spa Decorative and Fine Arts Society has announced the death of its chairman Keith Roberts.
In a message to its members, the society’s acting chairman Martin Hornbrook told them that Keith died suddenly while on a recent holiday in South Africa.
Keith had been the society’s chairman since 2022 and was also its ‘resident IT expert’.
He was also heavily involved with the Leamington Spa Photographic Society.
Martin said: “Keith was deeply committed to ensuring that the society operated smoothly and effectively, and his dedication, time, and steady guidance were invaluable to us all. “Beyond his work with the society, Keith had many interests, including photography.
“One of his photographs is proudly featured in the banner on our website—a small reminder of his creativity, and a great example of the many contributions he made. “He will be greatly missed.”
Keith recently presented Royal Leamington Spa College student Grace Gardiner with the Distinguished Art Award from the society.
