On Monday, June 30, WWT Slimbridge unveiled their new sculpture, El Plumas, created by director Jorge R Gutierrez.
The sculpture celebrates the Mexican holiday, The Day of the Dead, and will remain at the centre until the trail ends on August 31.
Visitors can view El Plumas without an admission ticket between 8am and 6pm.
WWT Slimbridge hopes the sculpture will draw visitors to their first-ever Dragonfly Festival.
The trail features over 50 sculptures of Aardman’s characters, including Wallace, Gromit and Feathers McGraw.
Nick Park, Aardman director and creator of Wallace and Gromit, said: “It’s amazing to see such imagination and originality from the artists taking part in our trail this summer.
“I look forward to a summer of Gromiteering around Bristol and beyond this summer.”
