The sculpture at The Kendleshire Golf Club, named Austentatious, is part of this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 3 trail, and is the first living Gromit sculpture on the trail.
A spokesperson for The Kendleshire Golf Club said: “We are delighted to reveal our very special sculpture as we take part in this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 3 trail, raising for The Grand Appeal.”
Austentatious will be maintained by The Kendleshire’s greens team and Ammil Garden Design throughout the trail.
The trail raises funds for The Grand Appeal, the official charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital, and features 53 star-studded sculptures of Wallace, Gromit, Feathers McGraw, and new character Norbot the Smart Gnome.
There are 12 Gromit Unleashed 3 trail locations in South Gloucestershire, including The Kendleshire, The Rose and Crown in Pucklechurch, and the West Country Water Park in Bradley Stoke.
The Gromit Unleashed 3 trail runs from June 30 to August 31 as the trail returns to Bristol and beyond.
