Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were left open-mouthed on This Morning on Monday as an artist revealed a sculpture of them that looked ‘nothing like’ the hosts.
Viewers of the long-running ITV daytime show tuned in as it was revealed how the artist had painstakingly worked on the creation.
Based in Weymouth, Dorset, the sculptor had attempted to carve the hosts with 30 tonnes of sand – and the finished product was unveiled live on air.
Former Coronation Street star Colson Smith hosted the segment and sat beside the life-size versions of the pair on a sofa.
However, as Cat and Ben feasted their eyes on their figurines, they were left visibly open-mouthed.
They attempted to distract from their initial reactions by making playful remarks and dropping digs at each other.
