The Savoy in London has unveiled the first images of its newly-refurbished rooms and suites.
Developed in partnership with design studio G.A Group, the new interiors are a modern reinterpretation of the hotel’s Edwardian and Art Deco heritage.

The hotel’s Edwardian-style rooms, which date back to the turn of the 20th century, have been adorned with warm silvers, ivory silk, marble and brass finishes. They also feature artwork alluding to famous shows held at the Savoy Theatre.
Meanwhile, its Art Deco-style rooms have been furnished in a Savoy green, complete with subtle hints to the movement through the use of distinctive headboards and mirrors.

Original fireplaces and intricate cornice detailing from the Grade II-listed building have been restored as part of the extensive refit, while the Savoy’s River View suites have been installed with new window seating to recreate the landscapes that inspired artists like Claude Monet.
Guests staying in the suites will also be able to utilise a Dyson hairdryer, as well as bespoke yoga mats.

All rooms come with an upgraded guest room management service, wireless bedside charging stations and colour-changing vanity mirrors.
The renovation comes soon after the Gallery, a new all-day dining restaurant, launched at the hotel late last year alongside scone shop Scoff and the Florist. Phased refurbishments are expected to continue into 2027.
The Savoy is a 267-bedroom Fairmont managed hotel, home to F&B outlets including the American Bar, the Beaufort Bar, and Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill and River Restaurant.
It is also due to welcome Jeremy King’s relaunch of Simpson’s in the Strand, which was one of the first UK restaurants to win a Michelin star in 1974, though the restaurateur admitted it has been set back by a year of delays.
