Pupils at Great Bentley Primary School, part of the Penrose Learning Trust, have brought locomotive history to life with their artwork.
The project was in collaboration with the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership.
Year 6 pupils were inspired by nationwide projects and created unique platform posters based on their experiences on iconic UK railways.
These designs were transformed into banners for display at the station.
Year 6 pupil Logan said: “I enjoyed finding out about the different types of trains over the past 200 years.”

The unveiling ceremony was attended by the local community, including Nigel Spencer, the Assistant Lord Lieutenant of Essex.
The event also featured talks from the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership and station adopters on rail safety.
Sarah Skillern, head of Great Bentley Primary School, added: “This has been a really interesting local project for the Great Bentley Primary School pupils to get involved with.
“They will really enjoy seeing their banners at the station throughout this 200th anniversary year since the first steam trains transported passengers on British railway lines.
“Our primary school is situated directly next to the train station, so we are always pleased to be part of community projects linked to the railway and we were thrilled to be able to contribute some of the children’s wonderful collage pictures showing the development of trains over the past 200 years.”
