The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) will feature more than 60 events in Barnet throughout June.
This is Barnet’s third year as a key destination in the festival programme.
The council’s LFA Community Fund supported 26 local groups to help organise events, responding to this year’s festival theme of ‘voices.’
Councillor Anne Clarke, cabinet member for culture, leisure, arts, and sport at Barnet Council, said: “We are excited to welcome the LFA back for its third consecutive year to Barnet, building on the strength and success of previous projects.”
“The festival offers an incredible opportunity for the creative sector to showcase its talent to a London-wide audience.
“It’s also a great way to support the council’s culture strategy and the Art in Barnet campaign in positioning the borough as a cultural destination for all.”
Festival events range from an audio installation exploring nature conservation at Phoenix Cinema on June 6 to activities and walks in libraries across the borough.
Full details and the programme can be found on the LFA website.
In May, Barnet Council launched the ‘Art in Barnet’ campaign to inspire engagement with the arts.
