North London Grammar School is participating in the International Greenwich Olympiad (IGO), which is celebrating its 2025 event with the largest reach and most diverse participation yet.
The contest brings together 305 projects created by 443 students, supported by 147 supervisors from 45 different countries.
This year, the Olympiad has introduced new competition categories, allowing students to showcase their talents in areas such as creative arts, technology, and STEM-based presentations.
The aim is to make the Olympiad more accessible to a wider range of students.
A significant feature of this year’s event is the integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) across both scientific and non-scientific categories.
Participants have been encouraged to explore themes such as climate action, life on land, and quality education.
This links creativity with global responsibility and real-world impact.
The International Greenwich Olympiad continues to serve as a platform for young minds to share ideas, build connections, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
